Master Control Room Engineer
Our North West London based international News Broadcaster is looking for a skilled MCR Engineer to work on a freelance basis with them.
Job Description:
- Responsible for collecting signals from various sources including fibre, satellite, mobile networks, etc.;
- Responsible for processing, switching and distributing signals in the system;
- Responsible for transmitting studio live signals to global sites and maintaining the related equipment
Job Requirements:
- More than 5 years’ experience in Master Control or video signal transmission and operation;
- Familiar with the technical process of signal contributing, distribution and transmission ;
- Familiar with signal transmission through fibre, satellite, etc. and skilled at operating the related equipment.;
- Skilled at using the portable equipment like Live U, Cogent, etc.
- Excellent Communicator and highly diligent in all matters
